This policy explains what information Salesyards collects when you browse the site or place an order, and how it's used.

1. Information we collect

You can browse and search Salesyards freely without providing any information at all. We only collect personal information when you place an order, specifically:

• Your name
• Your phone number
• Your delivery address, only if you choose delivery rather than pickup

We do not require an account, email address, or any login to use Salesyards.

2. What we do not collect

Salesyards does not process payment of any kind, so we never collect card numbers, Mobile Money details, or any other payment information. Payment happens directly between you and the vendor, outside of the Salesyards website entirely.

3. How your information is used

When you place an order, your name, phone number, and delivery address (if applicable) are sent directly to the specific vendor you ordered from, so they can confirm your order and arrange pickup or delivery. This information becomes part of that vendor's own sales records in their Pister Invoice account, the same system they use to manage all of their sales.

4. Who sees your information

Your order details are only shared with the one vendor you placed an order with — never with any other vendor on Salesyards, and never sold or shared with unrelated third parties for marketing or any other purpose.

5. How your information is stored

Order information is stored securely within Pister Invoice's systems, the same platform that powers the vendor's own business records. It is retained as part of that vendor's normal sales history.

6. Contacting a vendor

When a vendor reaches out to confirm your order, they will be using the phone number you provided at checkout. Any further communication about your order happens directly between you and that vendor.

7. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time as Salesyards grows. Significant changes will be reflected on this page with an updated date at the top.
